How did you handle it with the shadows? I mean how do you get your ground as aplha but with visible shadows. I thought this can't be done in Octane yet.

well the occlusion pass aka clay render added the shadows, if you feel like you need more, just leave on top the mix (beauty+occlusion+alpha) in the middle you add again the occlusion to control de shadows adding it as "darker color" and on the lower layer the base photo.
