Displacement map support Please!

Where do you import IES file with in the Octane program?
Now how would I get the light bulbs material to emit light or is their another way to do this?

- You cannot import IES files into Octane.
- You cannot use materials to generate light in the current or next build of Octane.

You can take my words for good on this account.

Maxwell render is now like 6 years in development, octane about 7 months.
we will add IES suppor, we just need some time to catch up.

Yeah that goes without saying , Octane is already looking great today.
I was just pointing out that ies would be there at some point in the future.
