WinXP 64 + Octane Beta 2.1 + i7 950 + 12 GB + GTX480 = 145 thwak (4.04M samples/second)
It takes 145 seconds to reach 1,000 samples/pixel. It's really fantastic. :D

- FAN speed = 70%
- GPU temperature = 88C
- GPU load = 99%

Numbers are great. I can't wait for the multi-gpu support to come. My 2 gtx470's should be here on Thurs. Really eager to get some power rendering going.
System 1: EVGA gtx470 1280Mb and MSI gtx470 1280 in Cubix Xpander for Octane, AMD 945, 4Gb Ram
All systems are at stock speeds and settings.

The Multi-GPU support postponed to beta2.2.

what temperatures are you getting on the OC'ed one ?
i'd recon you're threading on thin ice there...

those things already run like vacuum cleaners to keep them cool at stock speeds...

I set the fan speed to 100% "very very loud"
I set the Core Coltage to 1.125
I set the Shader Clock to 1712
I set the Memory Clock to 2256

GPU temperature is 89C at 100% fan speed.

I will never let that be my default setting just for testing.

Here is the same screenshot that I posted in the benchmark thread. I captured the screenshot early in the render, so 259 samples at 48 seconds.
