For me it seem that they don't feed us with infos at all means that they are very busy with preparing the installers and info.
I am just guessing though.

We live in hope....:)

It's great software. I just wish there was some (however brief) update.

Does anyone knows how many people are in the list waiting for the 3ds max plugin?

I mean how many 3ds max users do we have here?

I have also been waiting for this. My main tool for rendering is Maxwell, which I have been very satisfied with. Now I need a faster tool for doing some animations. I cannot wait for Octane anymore, and I am now considering to buy some Arion licenses. Has anyone got experience from using Arion with Max for doing animations?

Refractive announced the plugin on 7 November 2011.
If I'm sure to announce a product on the 7 November ready for the 1st December I'm sure at 99% that the deadline is for the 25 November, then I need few days to prepare videos, banners, and official announcements on the most important 3d related sites: CG CHANNEL, CG SOCIETY, etc...

Probably Refractive needs some good people in the marketing department...;)

If you want to know about Arion 1.5.1 progress, follow this blog:

I'm an Arion user too, but I'm waiting for the 1.5.1.
Arion and Octane are two great softwares but behind them there are 2-3 guys only.

Or you can just relax and wait, it's not even late yet. They're clearly not stupid, they know when they set the deadline, they'll know to update you if it gets late. And LOL @ windAddict, either wait for Octane for Max for another day or so, or go and do some research on Arion, don't make threats about switching over just because you're impatient. You cannot wait anymore? Did you agree to a job that requires Octane for Max as part of your pipeline that's due tomorow?! No? Then stop whining and be patient, I'm sure it will be awesome whenever it's released.
