I was just asked by one of our shader users, if there is going to be a Mac version of this update as well?

Is it me or is it just me... but when I uncheck "Show Tooltips", (Octanes greatest feature, turning off tooltips), under the 'Setup' window and select save, it never saves my settings between Poser and Octane sessions.

Perhaps there's a file hidden way down in the Windows folder structure I need to delete and reset.

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.22.2.43
- Fixed issue where the Show Tooltips configuration option was not being saved correctly to the configuration file

Thanks Paul... now if you could just do the same thing with "Allow scaled Poser cameras" and maybe a few of the other options as well.
No pressure though.

If you re-download 2.22.2.43, it now contains the fix for saving Allow Scaled Cameras.

I have a question - what do I need to do about Poser scale when loading scenes into Octane for IES lights to work properly? I have already noticed LiveDB materials and HDRI maps always look too large in comparison to Poser scale. Is there something I should do to the entire scene before I load it into Octane to have the scale fixed?

I was thinking on creating a group object and parent the entire scene to it, and then scale it up. What scale factor should that be?

What is the scale factor set to in your plugin configuration?
