I'm planning everything but these are highly dependant to renderer capabilities. Haven't heard any info about vertexmaps since some time.eyeonestudio wrote:Thanks for R5...

Here's hoping this update will alleviate some crashes. Last version was crash-tastic.

What do you mean? Do you have any better info with exact explanations rather than nonliteral WORDS?aggiechase37 wrote:Here's hoping this update will alleviate some crashes. Last version was crash-tastic.

I had no more crashes with 03.2-R4 and R5 than before.
But I have a problem with 03.2-R5 and now with 03.3-R1 again:
Every time I open C4D and then a scene that was saved with network rendering enabled, Octane disables network rendering:

After enabling it and binding the clients network rendering works until I close and reopen C4D. Then I have to enable and bind them again.

Do you have crashes or not? Btw i'm aware of forgotten slaves but it's not about plugin. Abstrax will try to fix it. Also i can add some codes to remember latest selections for LV. Also i'm thinking to add an assignment box in PV.zoppo wrote:I had no more crashes with 03.2-R4 and R5 than before.

Well, it sometimes crashes but not often. I am not complaining about the stability.
But it would be nice if those forgotten client thing could be fixed.

Ok but I wish to know details. How can we fix if nobody report thus?zoppo wrote:Well, it sometimes crashes but not often. I am not complaining about the stability.

Material stacking is really working great, only it won't work if the material below is a Mix Material. Could this be possible in the future?
