The security system is really a pain in the ass, this night I had three stops by authentification error, I cannot let this program work by it self and do some usefull things (as sleep for example), cause I have to check every hour if your server is working, if not all the proccess stops, seriously you need to do something with this, we already paid to use it, I don't understand why I have to summit my registration all the time, all the frames, everyday.

this is beta man... i dont know what is wrong with you poeple who keep asking stupid questions...I find your question very stupid and unnecessery !
This ver is great comparing to other earlier relises.
You can go to winter dream, like bear, we will wake you up when we cook final ver of octane render !
wake us up when its fional cooked.? after selling us this stuff.?is it we pay to be a dummy testers and we dont get answers to queries.? and this activating stuff is really inconvenient. its like we are only "renting" the license and octane have to authenticate it when we use it...!!!

stupid questions it is..?????

So what exactly is the problem? Beside some general accusations and rantings I don't see anything substantial in any of those posts. If you have a problem with a scene exported by the exporter, please post it or send it to us via email and we will have a look. Ranting like "When will Octane actually work?" doesn't help anyone and just clutters the forum. That Octane actually works (of course not 100% perfect, because it's still a beta version) has been proven by the last competition.

Cheers,
Marcus

Marcus you are completly right!
I think it is clear in the purchase proccess that you get such discount in price because it is a beta soft.
Me as a customer of octane, can not think why people is so anxious.
You in refractive team are doing a great job. of course I am eager to get more features and more powerfull and stable Octane, and sometimes it can take me to anxiousness, but it is because I am forseeing what a success octane will become when it gets all the stuff is planned.
I only wanted that you there feel not everybody in this other side think as those guys.
And hope that my words of positiveness towards you can be more apreciated and encouraging than the ranting discoureaging.
Cheers :D

I am confused. I cannot find which one to download to get the program. All I can find is the CUDA drivers and not the program itself. May I suggest that you make a separate download for the program itself and no one can post in it, instead of hunting through all the pages? Something like when you download the demo version.

It's all confusing. Thanks.

@tuts3d,

everything you need to know and get is in the first post of this thread. (those are not CUDA drivers, but separate versions of Octane compiled for different CUDA library - choose the one that correspond to your OS and CUDA driver instalation you got from Nvidia)
