thx & Good luck too
very nice especially the environment and lightning, you decided to not use motion blur, why ?KillerBean wrote:Hi folks,
Here's my entry, a 30 second fight clip from my Killer Bean Forever movie re-rendered in Octane Render. You can open it up for full 720p playback.
Here is the flv download, but the quality is not that great. I couldn't up the quality that high in Riva. Anyone know of a better, higher quality flv encoder?
The animation was done by me. The background environment is a Daz3d model made by Stonemason.
I used the oversampling method, rendered at 2560x1440 at 256 samples. Then I de-noised it with Noise Ninja 2 and brought it into Photoshop to shrink down to 1280x720 and adjust the hue slightly to make it a little warmer.
Each frame took about 5-6 minutes to render on my gtx480. This clip has 23 shots edited together with Sony Vegas. Sound design was done by me with sound effects I licensed. The music is also licensed.
I just got done in time! Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks Radiance.
In the post wondered if something more is needed, because I could upload the video in flv format to my hosting if necessary.
Here I put a couple of images of the scene not included in the final animation.

Cheers

Hello everyone
Here is my modest contribution.
This is an upgrade of an old character animation that we made.
I want to clarify that it is not a complete export because I hadn't time to setup a correct fluid effect
that can be properly composited in the Octane export.
So, do not be surprised to see the little jetpack of our character does not spit out smoke !
However, this is Octane exports that are considered here, I don't think this causes a problem for this contest.
I tried to setup quickly Particular effect in After Effects, but it was not very persuasive.
Anyway, thanks for watching, and good luck to all challengers !

I think it's 8MB. If you can't attach, use an file hosting service or upload to vimeo and make a post here.n1k wrote:I'm rendering final shot for my anim should be done in about 3.5 hours.(last minute changes:) ) What's the ETA on closing? What is maximum file size allowed to be attached on forum?

if you've submitted it here before the deadline to vimeo or youtube and it's still 'converting' you are legally 'in'.
