This problem is fixed for the next release.

Juanjo I think I found a small bug in the latest build. Actually there are two, one crashes Lightwave and the other seems to not be working properly.

LW Crash bug: open a new scene, ad an object (any object, even a default box) Add an Octane material to this object (diffuse, spec, or glossy). Then connect the octane material to the LW material node USING THE RIGHT CLICK --> NODE MENU --> LINK TO SURFACE method. Lightwave crashes every time IF the Octane plugin isn't enabled.

Also, 'Get T Texture Layers' placed any transparency map into the Normal input, rather than the Opacity input. This issue only seems to be prevalent for DIFFUSE materials. Glossy works fine, but Specular ignored the colour texture, and places the transparency channel into the 'transmission' input by default.

The context menus can't work without the plugin enabled, but the crash is fixed now. Also the link problem in the diffuse material is fixed.

Thanks for reporting this issues.

Thank you very much again :)

Is it possible to control the location where the automatically added nodes appear in node editor? They often go very far out of view and so pressing A,F is the only way to get them into sight. It may be that you can't adjust the location from the plugin but if you can, please make them appear near the node the menu was called :)

Thank you again!

Thanks mate. I realise the crash bug shouldn't really occur under normal usage. Cheers.

It is not possible because the LW SDK doesn't have a function to get the nodes position in the node editor, so I can't know where to place the new nodes near the existing ones.

Do you have the Octane plugin enabled? ... this functions don't work if you don't have the plugin enabled, and the context menu crash if Octane is not enabled is fixed now for the next release.

This could be what actually happened because now it all works as expected.
