Every time I turn it on whether or not I have Limited Region render on all it does is go to max size and refuse to adjust. This happens even in complete empty scenes with nothing in them with a fresh reboot of lightwave 11.6.2. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.
Yes, you need to use the CTRL key to drag the render zone.

Thanks, This was a life saver! You might want to add that to the Online Manual reference to region rendering, that was the first place I checked and it had no information on the new region rendering features.

Cheers and thanks again!

Juanjo have you had a chance to test the IPR skewing issue? Or has anyone else noticed this as well

Yes, I have seen this problem here. I will fix it for the next release.

Much appreciated, cheers.

If it's not a huge task would it possible to revisit my old thread re: automated saving of "Per Project" Saving of Octane Render Target" I still get a little worried working in multiple projects.

Many thanks,
Dino.

I really second that question. That was a life saving feature when computer crashes occurred.

That could be a nice feature, if it isn't a nightmare for Juanjo.

But what I would really love: is to be able to add max samples to F9s in progress - especially since I have starting using RR for cleaning up a little more lately (liking RR more and more)... and really, if it could be done to IPR without render restarting, this too would rock. Some may ask why -- but I use max samples a lot to keep electric bill down and heat under control. Me and workstation are up stairs in loft... I have central air, but when rendering, my ws becomes an effing blast furnace...

I understand that it would be a great deal of work Juanjo, overall I think it needs to be a feature that is implemented throughout octane. Both in plugins and Standalone, and most of the work wouldn't be on Juanjo (this of course coming from someone who has no Idea how it program it and what is entailed to make it happen, so take it for what it's worth :) ).

Still it would be amazing to have the the ability to stop, work on something else and then pick it back up and continue from where I left off.

With InfoChannel could AO distance please be added to the next release, at this time it's more or less useless and everything is very dark. I think it's set to infinite distribution distance by default with no way to change it.

Cheers
