Yes please.
Really appreciate all the hard work the team is putting in and I like the software a lot. But important (basic) requests are implementet slowly or not at all.

We need some reinforcement!

found it.
Maybe we can also get pane locks (render locks) for other panes. I am also sometimes hitting a node or number in the right pane.
I am not good with mousepads.

I would still like a 'disable automatic update' mode. When I am not specifically watching out for it, I leave the play (render) button on while creating scenes, and everytime I click on something or change a number, it starts over.
Also the automatic compiling if pressing a node is quite annyoing.

It is all ok for a scene with 6 screws to render, but if scenes get heavy, each automatic update (the 'real time' feature) takes a long time. I would definitely switch it off if it was avalable. Then after all changes are done, I would update all in one go.

 Well, I would need something that looks simple at first glance, but would be very usefull for big scenes. I like doing large exterior scenes and I often have a surface equal to 4 times my 16/9 screen full of nodes. I would like the ability of applying a chosen color to the nodes in order to not waste time searching nodes : for example i could apply a green color to nodes relative to Vegetation, a grey color for Buildings, a Blue color for Cars...

 Also, when clicking on a material or texture in the Nodes Inspector, it would be usefull to get the corresponding pins enlighted ( for example in visible bright red color) in the Node editor to see quickly which objects are sharing these materials or textures.

Ok not sure if this is possible but here it goes.... Does Octane standalone have integration for HDRI Light studio standalone? If yes since blender standalone relies on a server, it could be integrated with that as well? Would be nice for product design.

I think people are getting tired of asking..

Two things would help me on my current job, though. I should say it differently: there's two things preventing me from using Octane on my current project. No proxy support and no volumetrics/blobs. Ok, three: no procedural displacement.

Mix material that lets you input more than 2 materials. This one is killing my workflow right now. :(

Multi UV, compositing like and multi-layered materials would be nice indeed for 2.X
