2.20.0.26

- Added Tooltips to the Octane pins for all nodes in the Setup and Material trees
- Added Materials tab menu options to Copy Material To Clipboard and Paste Material From Clipboard - to allow copy/paste of materials between the plugin and other Octane plugins or Octane Standalone
- OCS files can now be loaded as proxies (similar to using ORBX files as proxies)
- Added Polygon Side texture node (see Octane Standalone 2.14 release notes for details)

Thanks Paul,
However I can't seem to find the latest 2.20 v of octane standalone - only 2.16 is available. this is problematic as I can no longer network - my slave version being outdated by the latest revit plugin. I'm going to have to ignore this version until the 2.2 becomes available for octane standalone
Thanks

I have re-uploaded 2.20.0.26 to fix an issue where the tooltips were not displaying. Pls re-download and install if you have already installed the above version.

Hello
I've downloaded the latest releases (for octane and the revit plugin) and there is one scene in my model that I can't render - every time i try to i get this message:

Octane error rendering scene: cuda error on device 0: the API was unable to allocate enough memory to perform the requested operation. -> failed to launch kernel (dl)
device 0: direct lighting failed.

I'm rendering with one master and one slave

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Paul
How do I do that? Do you mean the actual revit model?
Thanks

Ah right as in export the octane scene. The thing is I'm not using any particular settings - I've tried playing around with the field of view, sunlight - switching it to an HDR... nothing changes

Yes, can you send me the actual .rvt file so I can find out what is causing the cuda errors.

Thanks

Hi Paul,
As simple a solution as that would be I'm afraid as this is a confidential project I'm unable to send the revit file. The file is also very heavy - over 300mb as this is a large scale project.
I think I'm just going to try and resetup the view as octane seems to be working for any other scenes.
Thanks
