OK I believe it did crash two times when apply a uvw map and adjusting the scale size to some objects, max just crash without any warning to autosave!At what moment does crash happen? when you open octane viewport, when you close it, when you change materials or geometry with opened octane viewport?
Also, FrostMX objects(just very simple PFlow particles and then create a frost obj to meshing) are keeping crashing in 2.02 but can be render in v1.2
