Wow, impressive works !
Really nice animations.
For my own, nothing new. One of my screens died two days ago, and because temperature is here 33.5°C My workstation is switched off. As The Cubix box is supposed to not be used over 30°C, I don't want to take any risk.

I took sound from "Sunshine" OST by John Murphy. This movie in combination with brilliant soundtrack is stunning. Visual masterpiece.
well, there's still 4 days left, so you i don't see an issue why you can't render it in time... ?!Chris_TC wrote:Great entries everyone! I love the robot..
I'm struggling to get my animation rendered before the deadline but it should work out unless the system crashes tonight. Wish I had had more time to set aside for this fun contest.

4 days? But the rules state:radiance wrote:well, there's still 4 days left, so you i don't see an issue why you can't render it in time... ?!
The competition starts now, 29 May 2010 and will close on the 7th of July 2010 at 20:00 (20pm) GMT+1 (Central European Time)
That's about 28 hours from now, or has the deadline been changed?

for some odd reason i thought it was the 10th, i was coding while i replied so i was a bit distracted.
anyways, 28 hours is doable, provided you start rendering asap

try to make it in time.Chris_TC wrote:I've already rendered two thirds of the animation during the last two nights. So mathematically speaking it should work out. But yeah, had to go for a lower resolution (still meets the contest requirements though).
if you can't, just submit what you have

Time and modeling limitations have screwed up my entry. Looks like I wont be able to submit mine after all. I'll get it rendering tonight in it's state and try submitting it when done. Just too many things got in the way.
