Yes Agree, what happen with the new imager announced on facebook group with all this new feature it's never came out I guess to much issue? I remember had all this feature and more.

Best,

JO

Yeah, it was mentioned a very very long time ago as "releasing in a couple weeks" then it just disappeared with nary a word mentioned about it. :?
There are two things one learns as a long term Otoy customer. 1: double to triple the time it takes them to get stuff implemented. 2: don't get to excited about shown stuff... it may never see the light.

I can remeber the FB post as well, it looked really promising. Wasn't there an advance too shader promooted as well?

Otoy - I am testing Random Walk after receiving guidance from J.C and Despot.

There seems to be a Hot Pixel issue, though, for the color you wind up using in 'Radius'.
If I use the nice red I want, to mirror real life SSS redness, I get Hot Pixels.
The only way I can avoid them is by using a very light and faded pink, which looks bland.

Can you please fix so Hot pixels are not produced, thx!

EDIT - this happens especially along texture edges if using higher saturation values for Radius color. So for an FBX with different textures on the body, it is a mess.

it looks like right now the auto focus is in the middle of the screen. Is there any way to add an option to move autofocus target around a screen. That way if your target in the top left corner you can tell autofocus s where to be focused.

Also wondering....

People are reporting this and that but no dev answers to anything....

I also find it very strange that there seems to be no developer activity on here anymore. I hope it's just the fact that they are super busy and not some insurmountable tecnhical issue...

akotar posted in the other forum that 2019.2 has stability issues related to the SDK (which is what we're all here waiting for).
I'm expecting the end of this month they have something more substantial to share that goes along with the store redesign (which i read about in a different part of this forum).
but really there's nothing to say that they didnt already say, right? "we're working on it..."

I have to be honest, I'm also a little weirded out by all the radio silence here. Quite a lot of bugs were reported, no idea if they've been accounted for though.
