I checked nvidia driver I installed game ready version 460.89 I think I will change the driver version to SD latest driver
I had this error message when I installed a new card but did not re-install the driver. After installing the same driver again, the error was gone.vfxman83 wrote:I checked nvidia driver I installed game ready version 460.89 I think I will change the driver version to SD latest driverzoppo wrote:Did you try installing the Nvidia driver again?vfxman83 wrote:I am using Msi rtx 3090 I install and test, this is the result

Thought to bump this as I'm still curious, and have yet to work out what changed. Ive roll'd back to the previous version in the meantimeAaronWestwood wrote:Hey All!
Im new to the 2020.2.1 versions, but I just wondered was the scattering medium changed or altered?
When I open projects from the previous version all the scattering mediums within specular materials look different.
Totally cool if things were changed, just want to know what so I can get back the looks I created with other versions....

Hi
@ vfxman83:
Please download and install 2020.2.1 Standalone.
You can find it by visiting your personal Downloads area:
https://render.otoy.com/account/download_archive.php
At first start, you will be asked to press the Download button, to automatically install a new cuDNN library to run 2020.2 versions correctly:

@ AaronWestwood:
There is a new Nested dielectrics option in Kernel settings, enabled by default now. Try to disabler it with old scenes.
ciao Beppe

Yes, you are right about the Light streak but: motion blur is not long time exposure i guess.miohn wrote:
I'm not a photographer, but from my understanding I thought, when a car takes 2 seconds to come from a to b,
and I want a light streak the whole length from a to b, I need an exposure of 2 seconds. Not?
Hi, Aoktar
Something annoying is happening in the "Live View window":
With all files, whenever I rescale the image, the bottom of the window gets a black row. I must drag the window up in order to clean it. Please refer to .gif file.
Please fix it as it happens with all my scenes.
Regards,
