nildoe. Here is the render time on bepeg4d fog scene, rendered on our quad GTX690 if this helps. I stopped at 23 minutes. I can only imagine what the animation time is for Karba unless they are using the cloud service. Exactly... and thats why i like to know rendertimes..to have an estimate on how long that would render on my machine.. and in my case specifically i know that karba used to have 2x gtx590 which is what i have on one of my machines!

Thx alot for that info..quad690 and 23min..wow..its not fast but it's also not that slow considering the effect...
On my dual590 it would take about 40min then..

this is the result with caustic blur set to 1, could you check with yours 8 gpu monster

here is a fast fog animation test rendered tonight with Octane Render v1.13, Path Tracing kernel at 1024 samples for 8':30" per frame @ 720 px with dual gtx 590
