After downloading "OctaneRender_Prime_2025_6_for_DAZ4_v408,exe" and installing this version, the version displayed in DAZ Studio remains as "2025.6.0.405"
What happened to version "408"

And as always, my Octane material libraries need to be rebuilt somehow to display the missing thumbnails.

This is so frustrating.

Hi RGUS,
Thanks for the post..

So strange!!
Have you tried Deleting or moving the `OctaneRender_settings.oczdb` files to reset the OctaneRender for Daz plugin?
Here is the path "C:\Users\[username]\OctaneRender\Data\OctaneRender_settings.oczdb"..

We can confirm both Prime and Studio showing the correct version displayed as 2025.6.0.408!

Try uninstall and reinstall as Administrator and see if it fixes!!

cheers
Kind Regards

Thanks BK, Yeah, it took uninstalling Octane Render and re-installing the 408 version.
How do I get all the thumbnails back in the Material window? Octane and my materials all show "Preview not in Cache"

Thanks for your help.

Hi, Glad to hear it worked.

Do you mean the LiveDB Preview?
If so, please try Update now to recache or sync from the preference tab.
Also, check the Path Settings.. the defaults are set to C:\ drive..

cheers
Kind Regards

Just needed the update and correct path for Octane's materials.
My user material thumbnails were rebuilt using an option at the bottom of the tab labelled something like "Rebuild thumbnails..." Can't quite remember, but it worked.

Thanks ever so much for sorting this for me.

Me again...

I have tried to find where I set something in Octane that allows me to use the F/Stop slider in the Viewport to change the depth of field in real time.
In previous versions, this worked perfectly.
I'm not sure, with re-installing the plug-in, something went back to default settings that now makes the slider ineffective.
What am I missing?
Thanks again for any help.
