I rendered it with redshift.

Redshift renders the sim without a problem. No jumps. Viewport render renders the sim correctly, no jumps.
Octane does not render the sim correctly, and there are jumps in a random manner.

no jump, all good!misi wrote:So no jumps at all on your end?
I used the latest Octane version, if I am not mistaken.
I will check my c4d version then.
GPU driver?
Thank you Aoktar!

It's the question: "where is the problem?". That's what I wish to understand. There are not much possibility to happen this. Maybe a transform glitch or data transfer problem. We cannot know without replicate the issue.misi wrote:That is great that you have no jumps, but I still have it and again only with Octane.
I did as you asked and rendered it with different render engine.
If we use the same C4D version, same Octane version, same scene, where is the problem?

Well me too, that is why I am here.
What do you mean by transfer glitch or data transfer problem? I keep getting the same "glitch" with 2 different version of C4D and different files.
And how should we address to solve this problem?
Any troubleshooting method, steps you recommend?

ciao,

It seems Aoktar has no problems. I checked the sim with Redshift, and it is flawless.
Viewport and Redshift spit out the sim without glitches.
I am certain that is an Octane problem.
Did you have a chance to render it or have a look at it?
Thank you!
This is not a common problem We have seen before. We're testing it. Have you re-generated the caches? Asking because I did and worked.misi wrote:Well me too, that is why I am here.

Yes, I re-cached the scene multiple times with different voxel size.
I tested R5, same results.

I re-cached and rendered with no issue.
