This sounds to me like a bug in the plugin. Can you reproduce it in standalone?

I checked scale (always a culprit) Yep I had a HUGE model
I sized it down and went in really quickly.

Thanks for updating, I think OpenVDB API must have been creating a crazy high resolution volume...

It says the Windows version is available now, but that they are still working on the OS 13 Ventura version. That is not available, yet.

I don't know what magic was done in this new revised Octane daylight mode but I played with it all day using different settings and light conditions compared it to Hosek&Wilkie model and I must say that it can produce way much better lighting than Hosek&Wilkie with proper settings. Especially that we have here more control on every aspect. Also Turbidity can now simulate cloudy sky without much changing of other parameters. Very good job !

can we get a better denosier? I think Disney's five year old frozen denoiser looks better and less jittery frame to frame

I noticed that we don't have AOV specular roughness info. There is roughness info only for diffusion

Reflection filter info doesn't include roughness.
