Can we use Cinema 4D node system in the future?

Also our Node Editor is much faster to work and create Octane material setups. There may be some feature lacks but it has a lot of advantages. I'd advice to study all features if you don't know that well.

I agree that this node editor looks like from decade ago but until it is functional and bugs free there are more important things to do.

I'm not complaining, Ahmet. I had to learn C4D for my current job after many years of Maya, and I found the C4D native materials extremely difficult to use with no clear visualization of the information flow. Octane for C4D was a godsend! Until we adopted it, I would very often go back to Maya to build assets, bake the materials into the model, then bring those back into C4D. Now I'm much more comfortable and fluent in C4D, and a big part of that is because I can do all my lighting and shading with Octane.aoktar wrote:Also our Node Editor is much faster to work and create Octane material setups. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for not complaining! As I said that we're are same side and I did my best in limited time and limited sources. We are very limited for graph features to use in C4D unless using the external libraries if "decade" means the visuality. Other than visuals, our node editor has beend designed for Octane not common usages. That's the why it's fluid. I don't think that C4D Node Editor is well on functionality as ours, nice on look but not fluid on usage. Too much unfitting design to our system. Internal system is pretty complicated and hard to manage.

Current node system has the same features that native ones, works fine and it has better features than native C4D :
1. Changing parameters directly from node by mouse
2. Groups for nodes
3. Attach new nodes to existing structure by moving them to node "lines"
4. new "info", comment node
5. Solo for nede
6. Disable node
As developer said - there is so many work to change them. There are many important things to do.
