The Bar in box coming in from the left is the amount of he cards memory the scene uses.
The bar coming in from the right is the amount of memory the system uses. IE Windows Aero , other open programs etc.

When they meet , you have a problem....your all out of memory on the graphics card.!

If this happens.Switch off Windows Aero interface, close off other running programs in windows. That should pull the right hand bar back to the right and give you some more room.

That's a visualisation of the memory that can't be used, i.e. the memory that used by the framebuffer, the system or other applications.

Cheers,
Marcus
Hey that's a nice addition Marcus! Seems you kept some surprises for us and didn't announce all the changes on the 2.50 version! hehe :)

Not really sure if you specifically need HDR maps to light the environment any more.

This test was done using just an 8bit jpg of a lighthouse at sunset. The power wasn't even increased.

Just used heavy vignetting and ektachrome 100 camera response.

It was always so that you could use just any texture node for lighting. Try to use a RGBspectrum

Thanks for the update guys! The first impression is that its working nice. Will do a more thorough testing in the coming days.

Thanks for the info.

Just really never used it like that before.Used to go straight for HDR for lighting before now.

So many options .... so little time :)

Marcus

Hi there,
First of all great to see an update!
A quick question.
In this version i still can't edit the materials I created for the live database. Will this in following versions be realised? Or do need to wait for an updated site for that?
