two problems

1) Still getting the split picture problem when using my ATI card as the display card.(see also comments made in V2.49) - see picture attached

2) Noticed some black around parts of the edges of my model. See Picture attached

Not sure if it's just me, but the strength of the Bump mapping in this release in direct lighting is really strong.I had to crank it right down on one of my scenes. It's seem's really effective now ! Nice one. :)

I did not try the command line yet but how can I choose the file format (in the command line) in what the picture is saved (png, exr, hdr)?
Will the default file format be an 8 bit - png if nothing is specified via command line?

thank you

Great release, thanks!
Everything seems to work great, and the CPU usage is down to 0-5%. I'm a happy camper right now :)
Going to test it alot more.

Yes, exr is an high dynamic range format.
I thought it would support .hdr files as well (Radiance HDR) but I was just mixing up something.

Still wondering how to address the file format through command line. Any ideas?

well the manual says the switch is

-o <filename>, --output-png <filename>
Output PNG imagefile when maxsamples is
reached

so have you tried variations of --output-png16 or --output-pnghdr or something like that ?

Worth a try or wait till Marcus or Radiance see's this post and advises us.
