Bug in this build - rotating HDRI in the texture environment does not update in the IPR.

Just confirming that Gradient Node is fixed. Thanks!

I've found out one more thing that doesn't update live in the IPR - transform nodes in the material editor.

Yes, you are right. I think that there is a problem with the transform nodes in this build. The scene is not updated automatically after changing any parameter of these nodes. It seems a core issue because the same happens in Standalone. I've reported this issue to the core devs.
Thanks,

Any ETA on the fix?
If finally it is a core issue we are going to need to wait for the Octane 2020.2.2 core. Be aware that this is an IPR updating issue only, the final rendering to disk or the IPR after reloading the scene work fine.DamjanMX_1 wrote:Cool, thanks!juanjgon wrote:Yes, you are right. So if it is a core issue, what is the approximate worse case scenario for waiting? Trying to figure out if I'm gonna wait or roll-back. It's not a breaking bug but it is annoying.juanjgon wrote:If finally it is a core issue we are going to need to wait for the Octane 2020.2.2 core. Sorry, I don't have any ETA about when the new Octane 2020.2.2 core build will be available. I'm still waiting for the confirmation of the bug on the core side.DamjanMX_1 wrote: So if it is a core issue, what is the approximate worse case scenario for waiting? Thanks for your patience,

Hey Juanjo,
I'm noticing in this build and or it's been ongoing for a while now, but I keep forgetting to report it. I'm finding that if I open the IPR and then close it before it begins rendering it will from time to time cause a fatal crash of Houdini. This is independent of the file, but may have something to do with either the amount of geometry or shader complexity, or possibly the memory isn't getting cleared from the graphics card. If I try to reproduce the problem immediately after opening Houdini and opening a file it's doesn't seem to crash, but once I've been working for a bit it seems be more likely. If I can figure out how to get it to accurately reproduce I'll edit this post, but thought I'd report either way.
