Sorry, forgot to ask, at which resolution are you rendering?
Have you tried to render at half resolution?
Frame buffer is handled in system RAM.

RAM usage was only at 8 GB.
Still crashed the Slave on half resolution.
It might be the PSU. It´s a 1000 but maybe getting a bit old.
Trying to render with only 2 GPUs on Slave. so far so good.
This might be the issue.
But sometimes it crashed after 50 frames, so I have to observe and post if this is not the issue.
Thanks again for your time.

Hi,
in general, if you are having issues with PSU, the Render-Node machine should reboot after crash.
What about the motherboard model?
If it is a X99 or X299 motherboard, it could give issues in Multi GPU mode with more than 2x GPUs.

Hi,
I did everything that was described in your Link above.
It felt stable in the beginning.
Rendered for a lot of frames.
Then when stoped the rendering. after a few minutes in idle. the slave crashed and restarted the system.
I also reset the Bios which didnt help.
Maybe I have 2 Issues with the slave, one was solved with the Fix above, but the second one is a self restarting system, not corelated with the rendering...

Great to hear that the X99 machine has started to render again!
About the second issue, maybe you have issues with PSU
