Daz Octane Render Kit (free!)

The process was;
Auto Materials
Then it looks "bad"
Then select character in the scene and double click on the skin texture from Octane Render Kit

This worked first couple of days and the character turns black and I only had to select the materials in Octane and chose Textures for Octane materials and then chose replace all active maps. This worked exactly as the tutorial explained. Now when I double click on and of the skin textures in Octane Render Kit, I get the Daz Studio Reading asset window but the progress bar never show its loading and so the window open and closes quickly.

Problem solved. Somehow my Octane preferences changed and turned off Load OctaneRender materials from .duf user presets. So I enabled it and all s good again
