Will it cost to upgrade from 2019.1 to 2020, I hope not; atleast one more free upgrade.
There is no perpetual 2019, it’s V4 -> 2020.x final for perpetual upgrade path. If you are on a sub, there is no price hike between versions.Creative_Sheep wrote:Will it cost to upgrade from 2019.1 to 2020, I hope not; atleast one more free upgrade.

I didn't quite understand; I'm using standalone version. Will there be a price hike or no ?Goldorak wrote:There is no perpetual 2019, it’s V4 -> 2020.x final for perpetual upgrade path. If you have a perpetual v4 and subscribe you can use 2019 / 2020 and so on as long as you have a subscription. After that you fall back to v4.
Alternatively you can upgrade your perpetual v4 to a perpetual v2020. This comes with a 12 month subscription after which you fall back to a v2020 if you end the subscription.
There is no perpetual v2019 because this is included in the perpetual v2020.

I won't have to pay for 2020.zoppo wrote:If you have a perpetual v4 and subscribe you can use 2019 / 2020 and so on as long as you have a subscription. After that you fall back to v4.

Ok that's too many types of subscriptions,
I see: Studio, Enterprise, Perpetual, V3, V2, V1, All-Access, etc. and now I have Prime Standalone expiring in 2 weeks...
With soon to be expired Prime. How do you guys get perpetual subscription?? Is it free?
What is the correct subscription for the hobbyists that play with them?

Really look how that is written, if you have a perpetual v4 subscription you can use 2019/2020. This sound as if, if you are using 2019.x you can upgrade to the official release of 2020. Unfortunately you then go onto say, as long as you have a subscription. Now it sounds as if you are saying; well, you can upgrade to 2020 when it is officially released but you must be on subscription, otherwise you fall back to v4 (2019.x) if you are not on subscription.zoppo wrote:If you have a perpetual v4 and subscribe you can use 2019 / 2020 and so on as long as you have a subscription. To make the paragraph even more confusing and mystify those who read it, you go onto to say; you can upgrade your perpetual to v4 (2019.x) to perpetual 2020, but that includes a 12 month subscription.
What is it, the whole paragraph you wrote is to mystify one into oblivion.
Read it again, my answer is completely correct.Creative_Sheep wrote:What is it, the whole paragraph you wrote is to mystify one into oblivion.
