Juan, the crash continues while trying to use AI Up-Sampler. What does my log file say?

Hi,

Hmm, true. Something is not working fine with the mesh volumes. I'll investigate it ASAP.

Thanks,

Sorry, it seems that this problem has not been fixed in the core yet. I suppose that it will be fixed for the next build.

EDIT: The problem seems to affect Windows 7 only. Is this your case?

I've sent you scene in .orbx format to the Octane core devs. Let's see what can be done ...

Looks like another release that I am going to be avoiding like the plague, give me a shout when you release a plugin that you know actually works, cheers.

What's the situation with importing Octane standalone materials in LW or orbx files ? Can it be done ? I want to investigate and learn from some standalone materials.

You can import Octane materials from the LiveDB or LocalDB using the material node that you have for it, but be aware that they live inside the Octane standard node editor. They are not translated to LightWave nodes inside the LW node editor, so I'm not sure how useful this feature is for learning purposes ... you are going to see the same than in Standalone.

With the spectron lights there isn't a way to control the light intensity except scaling the light up ?
