Octane for new iMac Pros with eGPU - best setup?

I would love to be denied, but as far as I know, RTX GPUs are not supported under High Sierra :(

Hi....I followed instructions on this forum about unplugging EGPU before startup and then logging out, plugging in GPU and logging back in and IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM.
So now my internal AMD Firepro 700s are driving my monitors and the EGPU is available for Iray renders, exactly what I needed.
