Ha, ha, actually I killed my site because I have too much work, maybe one day when people stop calling me for work I will rebuild it again.

I couldn't have done it without Battlefield, it was the thing keeping me up through countless nights of rendering.

But now I am more into cycling, veganism and going to sleep on time. Works even better. And no more coffee :D

Is there any chance to have update on pivot position system?
Right now every imported object has pivot in the middle of the scene, can we have additional pivot in the center of an object in the future?

will this build fix 3ds max slow scene evaluation where we have to uncheck USE OBJ RENDER SETTINGS ? Thanks

For some reason Image Tiles don't work with Displacement
Is it a bug or Displacement currently not supported with UDIM?

One question about texture compression,
When charging a project containing compressed textures, do they are re-compressed at loading ?
Because it seams that the load process takes more time ...
Could it be possible to cache the compressed images to speed up the loading ?

Yes - it’s on the roadmap, along with Scene AI cache for fast reload

I have disabled the usage of display GPU for tonemaping and denoising.
With version 4 you can try to reduce the max number of cores Octane uses for certain things - at the bottom of application preferences, "Max cores". It defaults to the number of cores you have.

When working with large abc files (1gb+) objects will disappear when working in the file. Only way to get the geo back is to restart octane.
For example when I change the texture to gamma 2.2 instead of 1 the geo is gone.

edit:
I also have it now when rendering. First half a min rendering is fine, then suddenly my memory of my vidoecard is almost empty and my render is becoming blacker and blacker.
