As far as I know, we don't know yet what plugins will be free in Octane 4, so well, if you need it now, get it ;)

Thanks,

Not yet, but the support of user attributes is a planned feature for this Octane 4.x dev cycle, as far as I know.

There are several tricks to support at least the Cd attributes, especially in particles, instances and hair objects, that can be enabled from the plugin OBJ spare parameters, but the proper full support of custom attributes is not ready yet.

Sorry, I had not seen this problem before. What Houdini version are you using? And are you sure that you have the right plugin build configured for your Houdini version?

You could be right.
Right now testing Octane_4.00.0.8_Houdini_16.0.736_Win64 with a h16.0.705
With this combo it crashing everytime using mplay for ipr
So definitly could be a incorrect version match problem.

But the thing is before i was using Octane_3.08.0.0_Houdini_16.0.705_Win64 with h16.0.705.
In this scenario it wasn't stable too but not every time.

In both scenario same problem, using ipr from toolbar or rop, mplay opening, houdini process terminated. No console message, no windows message. Mplay stay open but no rendering.

As everytime : thank you for your very quick reply and dedication.

Ok. Let me try to reproduce this problem here to see what I can find. In any case, I suppose that the OpenGL IPR works fine, right?

Yep no problem with the opengl window.

The thing is : usualy i'm using opengl Window when doing animation and switching to mplay when doing large resolution print.
Hit me hard i'm pretty sure i'm wrong somewhere : can you pixel zoom on opengl one ?

Yes, you can zoom in the OpenGL IPR using the mouse wheel. Doesn't work for you?

Mouse wheel make a "camera zoom" or a 3d zoom if it make any sence.
Just like the standalone.

But what i m talking about is 2D zoom. Just like in the standalone : CTRL+mousewheel = 2d zoom & CRTL+mouse click=2d pan.
In the plugin opengl windows the CTRL+mousewheel and CTRL+mouse click have no effect.

I'm looking for the same feature as the standalone about 2d zoom and panning.
