I love it :)
Could you add the possibility of changing the values via entering numbers right at the node also?
E.g. with a doubleclick or so? I know it is possible at the side if visible, but it would be a bit faster to enter exact numbers without moving the mouse there.

FYI: Right now, nodes opened with an existing file are not floating. Copying e.g. a changed in values Transform Node with STRG+Mousedrag will give me a resetted node copy.
It would be great to be able to change the color of the blend node also in the node tab. FYI: it is still crashing with 11 slots or more.
Amazing to see that your new onlinehelp is integrated in the new plug :)
- Node Editor: Show/hide options for node pins.
Nice :)
FYI: when I load an old scene, I can't make the hidden pins visible. The option is there, but it does not react right now. Don't know if that is on all nodes, I think it is based on the old/new nodes thing mentioned above.

Displacement isn't changed in XB2 SDK so far, right? Still breaking at UV seams.

Thank you!

Does AI lights work in this C4D test release? I see the checkbox under the pathtracing kernel but it doesn't seem to do anything. I don't see any options in the octane light tag either.

Cheers! Great job!

Thanks for comments! I didn't want to disable a partial feature first time. I was excited to bring V4 asap and it was a test sdk. So was a good timing for me to try new addons.
I'll try to improve it and bring more gui controls, like checkbox, combobox, color gui, etc..

Loved to hear some appreciation for new wip help.

I haven't tried latest sdk and don't know what changed on core. So feedbacks are important.

Only option is here. It should improve the lighting performance that heard from otoy devs.

Hey dude, thanks so much for your hard work in getting this release out, I thought it would be a while so I'm super excited to try this out :)

As for your comment about GUI improvements, I don't know if this is possible at all but I just wondered if you might be able to add my little request for the Octane settings window. When you use the mouse wheel to scroll it changes the kernel and then starts skipping through the tabs, rather than scrolling up and down the page. I know it's only a simple thing and most people probably are not bothered by this but but I can't tell you how often I go to scroll down the page and accidentally end up just changing my settings so I just wondered if you might be able to add that to your list for later on when you have managed to get v4 stable. Like I say, I know it's not a big deal but it's just a muscle memory thing because everywhere else, the mouse wheel scrolls the page.

Thanks again dude, I look forward to taking this for a spin and I'll be sure to feed back :)
