Something is broken.
1) v3.08 RC3 - 5.03 - OK
2) v3.08 RC3 - 5.04 - light and colors wrong, render has some artifacts.
3) export from v3.08 RC3 5.04 -> to standalone (v4) - image is OK

Hi Paride,

I am trying to scatter clouds as instances but with different scattering intensity. When I change scattering color to gradient texture with random color texture clouds turn red. Any way have clouds of different scattering values? Would be nice if density could have texture slot to have instance clouds of different density. Thank you

Hi Elvissuperstar007,
Thanks for your log and scene files!

I could see some issues when exporting your scene to orbx. (error about FileName::toJuceFile(), and Could not load 'NULL!:')
This will be fixed in the next release.
Enable 'ABC' export in Main Settings could also help.

I noted that the GPU memory is almost full with my TitanX (~4.5 / 4.7 GB), and I add to enable the Out of core CPU memory in the Stand Alone to be able to render.
(I got some Cuda error 'failed to allocate device array' without CPU memory..)
If you reach the GPU memory limit, you could try to change this Out of core memory size..

I also got a message 'One or more objects are currently Isolated' from 3dsMax when loading your scene, but I'm not sure if it's because I don't have some of your plugins, or if it could interfere with the correct rendering or the performance..

I could render with Octane Viewport, but sometimes get a 'Render failure in Normal Rendering' error message using the standard Render..
I guess it's because of the gpu memory beeing almost full..

The loading time seems reasonable.. and rendering time a little long ..
I will use your scene during future performance improvement..
Also, make sure all the 'Enable log' options in Toubleshooting are disabled for better performance..

Hi Ramones163,
thanks, I tested your file, yes sometimes doesn't work well, but this issue seems to happen only with your file, I tested 5.03 and 5.04 with another file and everything seems ok.
Did you try with other scenes?

What colour is the third pointer/triangle on your gradient bar?
The one at the right hand end looks white but if you select it you may find it's actually red?
