I may be wrong, but I think that I saw some PBR materials support in Octane roadmap,
does this means that working in substance painter > Octane workflow will be simplified?
Thanks

I probably missed something but I cannot use the gizmo to move/rotate/scale an object.
I add a placement node for a mesh, select it and activate any of the transform icons but don't get any transform icon whatever is the gizmo mode (local or world).
Any tips ?

Is the mesh being rendered, i.e. connected with the render target node you are currently rendering? If yes, then that sounds like a bug in which case it would be great if you could remove all other geometry and send the scene to us? Thank you.enricocerica wrote:I probably missed something but I cannot use the gizmo to move/rotate/scale an object.

We are working on the geometry compilation speed. Mostly for version 4, but some changes may also trickle down to version 3, but that's not clear yet. We will let you know in the coming weeks.coilbook wrote:uncia wrote:Dear Otoy team can you please look at this old problem when you have some time

Unfortunately we can't solve all problems all at once

Ok, it seems you have to enable the object picker tool (see viewtopic.php?p=320255#p320255). We will fix the bug in the next release. Sorry about that.enricocerica wrote:I probably missed something but I cannot use the gizmo to move/rotate/scale an object.
