Hi P.jsi,

Thanks again !!

It seems like the IPR region selection remains the same in the Camera1 after we switched, however, the region select works for us.
we just sent a short video through PM, please let me know if we missed any steps.
Kind Regards

Hi thanks.

Nice model/render!

Btw leave pick focus region ON on camera 1 and switch to persp camera(which has pick focus off) and the region render on persp camera will not work

Unless I am mistaken the entire time and the function is not camera specific.

Thanks

hi P.jsi,

Thank you for the video. It really helped for us. In my test, IPR still works but it saves the render region from the previous camera.

You are right !! Probably, leaving the "use pick focus region" option unchecked solves the problem.

By the way, the model was scanned using OTOY's Lightstage.
Kind Regards

Hi BK,

Just discovered one more thing. It also seems to affecting manual focus depth. It randomly shifts when doing IPR region render. The reason seems to same as the previous.

Thanks

Hi P.jsi,

Please use this options and let me know :)

1. "Use Pick Focus Region" checked/enabled and "Auto Focus" unchecked/disabled to focus on an object/Geo in the scene.

2. "Use Pick Focus Region" unchecked/disabled and "Auto Focus" unchecked/disabled for region render.
Kind Regards

Hi,

Yeah with number 1 there is no problems works fine. With number .2 its seems to be shifting even if the 'use pick focus region' is unchecked/disabled.

The reason like before other cameras(which has the 'use pick focus region' checked/enabled) seems to be affecting. But solution is the same, leaving unchecked in all cameras. Just letting you know anyway.
