I figured there might be custom calculations going on. I don't use the stand alone octane app and I never tried to import a scene from lightwave into it.
So far this works works to quickly get something into my occulus. And it kind of works since what is in front of me is more important than the other directions.
Unless there is a better solution for Lightwave, or I can take my textured objets into unity or the unreal engine this lets me play around a bit. But yes it's not perfect.
Octane + LW + Oculus ... suggestions?
