Chris, I am sorry to see all the trouble you are going through, we are trying to help you as best as we can, but we need more information in order to help you so please try step back for a second clarify the following.
ChrisPettit wrote:I cant even reset my password for my account, which I'm being told is what I need to do in order to reset my authentication
Was this using the link I sent you to reset your password after signing out from the website?

ChrisPettit wrote:"Your licenses are not currently active. This will be because they have been signed out (deactivated), or you may have had an operating system update.
When you start up C4D you should be asked to authenticate the license.
When the authentication request is displayed, all you need to do is enter your login username and password.
Who/what are you quoting here? Are you getting support by other means? We may need to coordinate, otherwise this may be a complete waist of time for all.
ChrisPettit wrote:And BTW, I have logged out, and then logged back in OVER and OVER. Doesn't help.
Again, do you mean from the website or from the Octane/plugin on your machine?
ChrisPettit wrote:my machine had a routine OS upgrade and it BROKE Octanes licensing protocol.
You didn't mention anything about an OS update, obviously things may break after an update , so it's highly unrecommended to do so during production. If this has affected Octane in any way unfortunately there's no way we could have tested it before as we don't get updates before our customers.

I also need to know whether you are using licenses in offline mode, the OS version as well as the Octane version you use (there's been authentication issues that have already been fixed some time ago, so you may just require to update), and please follow the instructions from the documentation I sent you earlier where it explains how to hard-reset your Octane authentication information on your local machine.

I hope you can get this working soon.

Hi Chris,

Did you get any luck with this since my latest post?

Please let us know if you need more help or if this has been already fixed and what you had to do in order to do so.

Thank you.
