Giving up on octane

Juanjo, It's no use. I've used your settings and the entire scene just looks washed out, the mist or fog comes right up to the camera with gradual increase the further away you get.
I want my objects close to the camera to have nice sharp details just like the image I posted, instead I'm getting a totally washed out mess.

This is the scene without the trees, but you can instance anything over the ground plane.

As they should be. Your light doesn't magically produce rim-lighting, nor does it scatter light in any different way without specific surface properties applied.AndyM1969 wrote:Okay, so as you can see the image is essentially just silhouettes
