Now that CUDA 8 has finally been released, I am wondering when we will see the Pascal specific optimisations in Octane? Any ETA on when it will be available?

@rv3d
Hi rv3d,
As other people have written, video cards nvidia 10 series are compatible with Octane v3.
gtx 1070 should work properly no incompatibility is detected.
If you wanted to make sure, you may test the demo version.

you should install Demo Octane 3.04>

Demo Octane 3dsMax plugin 4:21>

The latest drivers available>

you could check if cuda enabled, using GPU-z>

If you're using Windows 10, you will lose a proportionate amount of video memory.
This issue is not due to Octane but a Windows 10.
Windows 7 does not suffer about this.
If you have an integrated video card on the motherboard,
connects it to the monitor.
Use your 1070 for Octane only.
