i found a bug or something i do not know.

i added a volume medium in the daylight light.
in the absortion ramp and scattering ramp i can't put a new node.
with what node can i controling the heigh of "fog" ?

oguzbir - i'm also trying to rotate an HDRI image and have no luck. Can you share how you did make it work?

It's me or anyone happen the same problem? the deep image is not working? I use rt viewport and port to max buffer and then save out as an openexr file, but deep channel is not showing! did u make something wrong?

I noticed that If I start a new scene and I make the material conversion, the slots in the material editor shows correctly the materials. If I open an old scene (Octane V2) and I make the material conversion, the slots not showing the preview.; but if I load an old scene and I launch the Octane frame buffer, then I open the material editor, al is ok!.paoloverona wrote:is it only me or the material editor in V3 doesn't preview the old (Octane V 2.25) materials?
It works only in this way (open an old scene -> render few seconds -> open the material editor)...otherwise the slot will not show the preview.

There must be some mapping or UV bad interpretation into the new version: in the attached images it can be clearly seen + one totally different look render (used a totally white environment+portal+ a light plane )
I suggest all Octane users that are testing V3 version
first to test out the compatibility of the V2 scenes with the V3 version, and then focus on testing out the new features...I'm sure that noone want to find himself again (like 2,20 from 2.16) into the situation to have to check all the scene and the asset early created.
