During the scene translation I can look at the angle between vertical and current camera UP-vector and if it is say less than 1 degree - change the placement of camera loaded into Octane render core to vertical.
But in this case - you may see in some cases the inconsistency in camera tilt between viewport and rendered image if "Perspective correction" is on...
