V2 is easy and fast.
I suppose you take the camera properties in c4d and change it from there..

Hi,
I have the v2 beta quixel suite installed now.
I found the "bake" menu in c4d, I've just to learn how to use it.
thanks for your help -;)

Can't find reliable info online, but you seem to know stuff..ristoraven wrote:As a heads up, that V2 is probably out well before you'll be fluent with version 1.8.
If I were you, I'd spare the time & trouble & frustrations with 1.8 version..
New version is awesome. Well worth the [short] wait. It bakes the maps you need from the get go, you can paint directly on to the mesh and much more. And it is very stable.

When will it be out? Will we really get a free update from 1.8 (indie license)?!
I won't ask about megascans, gave up on that..

If you ask at polycount forum, you'll get to be a beta tester.
At the moment Quixel 2 is in very good condition already. No official release dates yet, but I just assume, that the release is not far away.
Yup, it's free for previous license owners.

I'm a newbee in this software.
I let you know what I discover.
