WOW! Thank you very much for providing the scene too and it seems I will have A LOT to study on this, I quickly checked it out and I have never used falloff textures so currently I have no idea what they are and do but of course the Octane manual explains them so RTFM. I get the idea but how the falloff textures affect on the result I don't know yet :)

I also want to UNDERSTAND how this works so I can make my own version for my candle project but this solves one big problem in my project :)

I also want to apologize Juanjo that I claimed that lack of LW gradients support makes this impossible, obviously I have a lot to learn about Octane plugin and its greatness although I have been playing with it quite a lot and know it is absolutely amazing.

Thank you all very much!

That does look like a hell of a flame there Boris. I will certainly check it out when I get a chance tonight.

And you guys have to excuse me - I am always looking to cut any corners I can, to maximize my earning potential. And sometimes I give advice that I shouldn't, because some of my methods are probably pretty unorthodox. My obsession with time and money does encroach on the artistic side of me... Which is a struggle, since modeling and texturing are two of my favorite things...

It took quite a bit of adjusting and experimenting especially with SSS but here is the final result :)

The flames are based on the ideas from Boris (I made my own flame objects and gradients with Photoshop but the main idea was the point) so thank you very much!
And of course this would not have been possible without Octane plugin so once again, thank you very much Juanjo!
NO photos were used and everything was rendered in Octane, no Photoshopping or other tricks were used :)
