Just an Idea but what if you took the Zbrush map and did some simple math *.5 then offset it by .5? wouldn't that bring the -1(black) 0(grey) 1(white) that zbrush uses into a 0 (black) .5 (grey) 1 (white) space? I tested it in nuke and it seems to work...might be worth a try. Unless I'm missing something

this was really interesting to me, I too am currently struggling with displacement maps in Octane generated in ZBrush. Here was my thread I started about a week ago.
