I'd say the enviroment seems a little strange.
Looks like its sat on some kind of marble kitchen work surface... in a forest of sorts... reflecting some very high buildings?
If this is a radio, I'd think more along the lines of where you'd likely see it such as on a designer coffee table or in some simplistic room perhaps?

good post...i had an idea with the environment but it would be usefull to know how to get just the shadows without a groundplane so i could composite on an environment just like a shadow catcher...is there a way to achieve this??
