Hi Paul - it doesn't appear camera animation works unless your click 'load all frames'. So basically 'load all frames' unclicked means deformation works but the camera is not updated' - 'load all frames' clicked means no deformation but the camera will work.
I'm guessing you turned off camera motion blur with load all frames on since vertex animation blur isn't supported yet...maybe you turned off all camera animation by accident?
Just test this by loading a sphere, animating the camera up on Y until the sphere is not seen...and un-check 'load all frames' in the Kernel before rendering.

Good news is that Octane works with the CSV point cache so you can use particle system caches in Octane. I also noticed that the camera's focal point animation is ignored when 'load all frames' is unchecked (I'm guessing that's all camera channels).

HI Paul - I can't get the camera focal depth to animate properly in any situation (load all frames or not, match modo or not, anything). So...not sure if these are all related, just fyi. Octane is kind of treading water for animation work until these are fixed (since anything animated will almost immediately go out of focus).
I'll keep poking around.

I have now spent some more time on the animation system - and there are a few problems there were introduced when I implemented the object motion blur, which is preventing it from being useable at the moment. I will address this in the next two days and get an update out to you.

Thanks Paul - don't kill yourself. I was going to try and put out a render this weekend for a client but went ahead and used Maxwell (I think Octane could take it down from 5 minutes a frame to 1 min a frame). I'll give it a shot when you're done updating.
