Really awesome Ahmet, thanks for the XP feature :)

I'm getting a problem that's randomly started, it was in the previous version too, all of a sudden all HDRIs are desaturated:

Any ideas what causes it? I've tried using different HDRIs from different packs but same issue occurs, this is now in all files I setup, normal colour is fine everywhere else, it's just HDRIs.

cheers

can you put here? Did you checked a material with some texture in same scene?

I can load an HDRI in to the Image Texture with it's Type set to "Normal", but "Float" loses all colour. Normal, keeps the colour, but that doesn't work with the Environment tag, and I assume the wrong setting for HDRIs, I've always set it to Float (I think!) :D

I'll send you the scene via PM

Ok, your scene have 5 of 64bit textures. But gpu has a limit as 4. Problem is that. I'll put some control and messagebox for this situation.

I didn't realise you'd added the X-Particles support in this release, I thought that was for later on. Works brilliantly here - thanks Ahmet!

Thanks Ahmet, I didn't realise there was a texture limit like that only thought it was limited by the amount of RAM.

Are the HDRIs caching in the GPU when I load them in and not clearing out after? I only have one HDRI in the Env tag and all other textures are 16-bit, does Octane see those as 64-bit/Float textures?

@Weezer: Thx, but it's a teaser for users. I'll improve it soon.

@brasco: Pls check image. This is not a bug. On my gtx590 has 4 slot for rgb 16 bit images, you have 5. One goes to float 16bit.
remove one image, change your hdr to normal mode in sky. Restart render.

Ahh I see, thanks for the explanation! The 16-bit textures didn't really need to be, so I've dropped them to 8-bit and it's all fixed, thanks very much for checking it out.
