Here it works fine. What's your problem with that scene?UnCommonGrafx wrote: Is it a bug that your fog scene no longer works?

I am not sure how it works. I know that this parameter should be used to avoid artifacts on roughly tesselated meshes, but really I don't have a sample scene that show this issue.gordonrobb wrote: Quick question. Can you give me any indication how the new parameter i the dirt node works. I can tweak it an get results, but just looking to understand what it's doing.
True, I have found the problem. Currently to work with HDRLS and Octane you need to have at least one viewport in Layout set to "Shaded Solid" or "Textured Shaded Solid". If you have all your viewports in "Wireframe" mode, Layout doesn't have the objects normals computed and the picking algorithm fails.gordonrobb wrote:Got a slight niggle with HDRS - when I use light paint, the 'reflect' mode acts like the 'rim' mode (the light appears behind the object.
Can you duplicate that?

And in Standalone? ... I only test this feature loading an alembic file in Standalone and works fine. Not sure about how it works with other packages.funk wrote:I have tested the "export alembic" feature and it seems to be creating an invalid file. I can't load it back in to LW or modo. Are you sure that you have the last Octane.dll and Octane.dat files inside your LW/bin folder? ... here all works fine. Anybody else have this problem?UnCommonGrafx wrote: Just to add, since the betas, I have lost this functionality.
I just tried loading the alembic file into the standalone and it works. It would be great if the alembic file worked in other applications too, since we already have direct .ocs export for the standalone.juanjgon wrote:And in Standalone? ...
