Glad you got the issue resolved!
I can give a bit of a critique I suppose. Overall not too shabby. I find though that the main issue is that it feels a bit flat, and this is probably due to the lighting that you have set up, it's very all over the place and I think having a more solid direction would help it a bit more. I think Ikea is probably your best bet in terms of getting lighting inspiration: http://onlinecatalog.ikea-usa.com/US/en/IKEA_Catalog/ They're masters of interior shots.
And I suppose I will be a little picky and say that the flooring doesn't really seem like it would belong in a living room, that it seems something more suited for the kitchen or for a commerical business of some kind. But it's rendered faily nicely still.
So yah, overall not so bad, I wouldn't want the green coloured wall but that's taste and maybe some more experimenting with textures and materials would help push it as well. Just keep working on it and it will probably turn out nice!
