You gave me a great idea, can't tell how many time I have loaded a scene and needed a mesh light. This would be perfect to simply draw a circle that could be made into a light sphere or a square into a light plane or an arch to get a parabolic umbrella for bounce light.stratified wrote:...
If somebody's keen, I think it's interesting to create a 2D draw library on top of this to draw primitives like circles, arcs, rectangles, ... We might add them in the future but we don't have the bandwidth right now.

I currently keep a set of shapes that I load and use with a placement node, but this would be great to create on the fly.
